Early morning pick up from Airport, Residence or hotel and start drive to The Masai Mara National Reserve. Apart from the famous “Big 5”, the Masai Mara is known for another natural spectacle, The Great Migration. It is an annual activity which includes the migration of over one million wildebeest, zebra, gazelle etc from the Serengeti in Northern Tanzania to Kenya, crossing over the Mara River in search of fresh green feeding pastures. Arrive in time for lunch and later go on an afternoon game drive towards the Mara River with hoping to see a dramatic river crossing. Overnight at your Luxury tented camp or lodge of choice.

Today shall be a game viewing extravaganza! The Mara as is popularly known remains the most exciting wildlife eco-system in the Natural world. Masai Mara reserve hosts the highest and varied concentration of wild animals than any other park in the region. The scenic appeal of this tree studded savannah plains, its moderate climate and diversity of wild game species makes it a one stop shop for game viewing activities. We shall traverse the reserve on a Full Day Extravaganza of unlimited game viewing encountering the big five and more of the lesser game. You shall enjoy a picnic lunch by the Mara river as we watch hippos & crocodiles or maybe the great migration (July –October) Overnight shall be at your Luxury Masai Mara Safari lodge/ tented camp.

4X4 safari vehicles will pick you from your camp or lodge between 0400-0530AM and drive you to the launch site, to arrive by 0600AM. Depending on the weather conditions, you can enjoy a cup of coffee or tea while you watch the balloons being prepared for take-off. Your pilot will give a safety briefing as well as explain what you can expect during the flight extravaganza! The balloon crew will assist as you clamber into your balloon basket for take-off just before sunrise, at about 6:30AM. As you rise the Maasai Mara plains opens up before your eyes to feast on the golden sunrise, enchanting sceneries, plains-game below as the winds gently blows the basket deeper into the reserve. The pilot is at hand pointing out at the wildlife below with plenty of photographic opportunities unfolding. Soar silently with 360 degrees of spectacular savannah lasting approximately one hour, depending on wind conditions. Upon landing between 7:15 and 7:30 AM, observe the complete deflation of the balloon envelope as our vehicles wait for you for a short drive to your morning hearty meal. Breakfast is set up on the picturesque savannah plains of the Mara, typically under the shade of a single balanite tree. Sit down to a full bush breakfast in the Kenyan style, complete with eggs-to-order, sausages, fresh juices, fruits, cereals and, of course, sparkling wine. After breakfast you may opt to have the Full Day Extravaganza game drives or game drives in separate successions so that you may also have a chance to enjoy lodge/camp facilities. The driver guide shall be readily available to discuss your daily activities as per your preferences. Overnight shall be at your Luxury Masai Mara Safari lodge/ tented camp

We wake up at early for a sunrise game viewing drive. We will then drive back to our tented camp or lodge for breakfast and later depart the Masai Mara National Reserve for Nairobi with stop over lunch.
