Day 1
Nairobi to Amboseli
Early in the morning, Your guide will pick you up from The Airport, Residence or hotel and start drive to Amboseli National Park. Arrive in time for lunch then have an optional afternoon game drive. Amboseli is often called the ‘Land of Giants’ – due to the impressive elephants here carrying massive tusks. The animals are set against breathtaking vistas of Mt Kilimanjaro, which makes an awesome backdrop to the small park. Aside from elephants, many plains animals are easy to spot. Most of the park consists of a dry, ancient lake bed and fragile grassland with patches of acacia woodland, while in the southern area there is a number of small, rocky, volcanic hills.
