Mara River lodge lies on the Mara River at the edge of Maasai Mara Game Reserve and overlooks deep pools where crocodiles and hippos bask all day.

The Lodge
Painted in traditional Maasai red ochre and lit by hundreds of lanterns, the lodge gives an immediate impression of the local surroundings. Guests are met by Maasai warriors in full regalia.

 

The lodge is surrounded by indigenous trees and plants and it blending with the environment and combining the best of nature and unexpected wilderness comfort with some of the finest views in the Mara.
