Ol Pejeta House takes you back to the yesteryears of colonialism and offers you a first-hand glimpse into the lifestyles of the settlers in Africa.
The snow-capped spires of Mount Kenya offer a breath-taking backdrop for a truly unforgettable visit. Tucked within the expansive Ol Pejeta Conservancy, host to all of the ‘Big Five’ (elephant, rhino, lion, buffalo and leopard), Ol Pejeta House is a hidden gem amidst the unspoilt majesty of the Kenyan wilderness.
Contemporary comfort combines effortlessly with the bygone traditions of Kenya’s farmhouse hospitality, creating an atmosphere that is as enriching as it is relaxing.
The main house of Ol Pejeta House is the typical country-style bungalow with red tiled roofs and carefully cultivated lawns.
There are lounges with plush sofas you can sink into, hardwood floors, beautiful throw rugs and vaulted roofs supported by wooden beams.
The main living room is tastefully appointed and has a fireplace with safari style paintings and other furniture. This taste is reflected in the spacious patio and dining room.
The sheer elegance and opulence of the main suite brings a modest royal feel to it; though needing some contemporary uplift. It has a big bed with curtains for privacy and includes a seating area, walk-in closet with roomy wardrobes, dressing room and bathroom.
The patio outside the suite overlooks the private pool.
The second-master suite is sited on the first floor and includes a capacious bathroom with a stand-alone tub and shower room.
The house also includes two guest bedrooms, each with an exclusive bathroom and balcony.
