While back at Flamingo Hill Camp, you are offered 25 guest tents in a homely, welcoming setting to ensure you have a comfortable and serene tour of Lake Nakuru with Evacay Africa, and the attentive staff are very helpful and responsive to your needs.
Guest tents are situated amidst landscaped campgrounds with views of the surrounding flora, trees and valley, and the quietest and most private tents are located away from the main central areas.
The soothing decor, romantic four-poster beds, small writing desk and private veranda of your chalet tent reflect a fused classical safari experience with a traditional hut-style shaded structure.
Few tents are catered towards families traveling together so are close to each other while the rest of the tents are minimally spaced out to afford some extra privacy.
At night, your tents and common areas are low lit so as to blend in with bush and avoid the urbanization of Flamingo Hill.
Electricity is available all day but somewhat limited in terms of using a blow-dryer in your tent. The minimalism of the camp, though, gives you an authentic bush vacation in Kenya.
The Restaurant
The Flamingo Hill Camp restaurant seats approximately 80 people comfortably and serves a buffet breakfast and lunch. Dinner is a mix of table d’hote or buffet style.
• Breakfast is served daily, between 6.00am & 9.30am
• Lunch is served between 12.30 noon & 2.30pm
• Dinner can be enjoyed between 7.00pm & 9.30pm
The experienced chefs will prepare meals to tantalize taste buds! They also cater for any special dietary requests made by the guests.
Bar & Lounge
The bar is well stocked with local as well as imported beverages.
The guests are treated to the famous flamingo hill cocktails whilst relaxing in our comfortable and open Lounge with a view of the plains. Recline, get pampered by staff and enjoy an African sundowner!
